Travel: Si usa travel quando ci si muove da un posto ad un altro. Per esempio, "How often do you travel for work?"
Journey: Journey è il sostantivo che si utilizza quando si viaggia da un posto a un altro. Per esempio, "The journey from my home to work takes an hour."

Alla stazione ferroviaria: Puoi comprare un biglietto alla biglietteria (ticket office) o da una biglietteria automatica (ticket machine). Una volta che sei sul treno dovrai mostrare il tuo biglietto al controllore (ticket inspector). Si sale e si scende dal treno tramite il binario (platform).

All’aeroporto: Quando arrivi all’aeroporto (airport) devi andare al terminal giusto. Gli aeroporti grossi di solito hanno due o tre terminal con edifici separati per i voli in arrivo e per quelli in partenza. Quando arrivi al terminal devi fare il check in - mostrare il tuo passaporto e il tuo biglietto al banco del check-in della compagnia aerea.
