Seconda Prova Maturità Tecnico Turistico: Esempi e Simulazioni
La seconda prova di maturità rappresenta una tappa fondamentale per gli studenti dell'istituto tecnico per il turismo. Ogni anno il MIM sceglie la materia per la traccia della seconda prova di maturità tra un ventaglio di "materie caratterizzanti" specifiche per ogni corso di studio.
L’Istituto tecnico per il turismo è un Istituto Tecnico che appartiene al settore Economico. Per questo il MIM ha stabilito che la seconda prova debba essere composta da una prima parte - da svolgere completamente - e da una seconda parte nella quale sono presenti dei quesiti tra cui scegliere.
Nella giornata del 28 febbraio 2019, il Miur ha pubblicato online sul sito le simulazioni della Seconda Prova di Maturità. È una giornata importante per tutti i maturandi che, alle prese con i cambiamenti dovuti alla riforma, finalmente scopriranno come sono strutturate le fatidiche prove miste.
Questo discorso vale anche per gli studenti del tecnico ad indirizzo turistico le cui materie esterne uscite sono inglese e economia aziendale.
Esempio di Traccia d'Inglese: Overtourism
Le simulazioni di Seconda Prova continuano ad andare avanti! I maturandi quindi devono fare i conti per la prima volta anche con la lingua straniera. Basandoci sull'esempio, si tratta di un testo sul turismo, in questo caso sull'eccesso del turismo e gli effetti di un "overtourism" nelle grandi città.

Il testo riportato nell'esempio del Miur spiega il fenomeno dell'overtourism, cioé il turismo eccessivo che reca danni alle città più famose del mondo. In poche parole, viene definito il fenomeno e si cerca di chiarire in che modo si potrebbe risolvere per evitare che queste città soccombano sotto i turisti.
Analisi di un grafico sull'impatto del turismo
Un esempio di quesito potrebbe essere il seguente:
"The chart (fig.1) shows the impact of increasing tourism in 3 European cities. Taking into account the ratio of overnight stays against the number of inhabitants, which of the three cities presents the most alarming situation?"
Secondo il grafico, la situazione più allarmante è a Venezia perché ci sono 261,680 abitanti contro 10,182,829 pernottamenti. The most direct consequence is the rise of the price per overnight stay, which in Venice is about 130 € per night, and the lack of a place to spend the night for tourists.
Proposta di Itinerario Alternativo in Puglia
Nella simulazione ci sono due opzioni di produzione tra cui scegliere. Noi abbiamo svolto la prima opzione, quella in cui dovete proporre un itinerario alternativo che metta a tu per tu il turista con il luogo e la gente autoctona.

Bari: You will start this journey in Bari, the biggest city in Puglia and easiest to reach by train, car and plane.

Alberobello: From here, you have to take the train to Alberobello, one of the most characteristic locations in Puglia, where you’ll get in touch with an ancient form of houses: the Trulli. These were the houses of farmers and peasants and nowadays are priceless historical heritage. After walking up and down along the pathways, you will learn how the peasants lived and their simple/basic lifestyle. You will eat typical meals like homemade pasta, vegetables and bread. After spending the night in a trullo, your journey will continue to the south, heading down the main road which goes along the Adriatic Sea.

Ostuni: Whenever you want (if you decide to go south by car) you can stop and enjoy the view. There are a lot of seaside locations where you can spend some free time and you can enjoy a bath in the cool sea. Your next location will be Ostuni, the white town. It is really white because, as a technique of construction, the peasants used to paint the outside of the house white to avoid the heat. We suggest you to go around on foot because there are a lot of sloping alleys where you will find restaurants and shops. Ostuni is surrounded by groves of olive trees, the typical tree of Puglia. You can discover how olive oil is made and the ancient techniques of production.

Lecce: Your journey will end in Lecce, the biggest city in the very south of Puglia. It is a baroque city: buildings and churches are the main attraction of this place. As you’ll arrive in the city center, you will find an ancient Roman amphitheatre, party underground. This are the remains of the ancient Roman city of Lupiae.
Le maturità 2025 prevede la risoluzione di una prova scritta di italiano, una prova nelle materie di indirizzo e un colloquio.
